Heilmaier Messedesign celebrated the 2014 Chinese New Year with the Bavarian China Forum!
We were extremely pleased to be able to support the Bavarian China Forum at this year’s Bavarian-Chinese New Year’s celebration, not only by being members but also by being able to offer both material and labor for this spectacular event. The evening kicked off with a presentation and talk from the scientist Dr. Tagscherer from Beijing titled “We’ve Become Innovative—China’s Future Caught between Dreams and Reality.” That was followed by a panel discussion focusing on the economy in both Bavaria and China. The panel members were, Zhu Wanjin, the Chinese General Consul in Munich; Dr. Otto Wiesheu, former Bavarian economics minister; and Christian Ude, former Mayor of Bavaria.
The evening then continued with a bevy of cultural performances. Those present were entertained by the likes of The Dancing Strawhats, who perform Hip-Hop dancing to Asian music and rhythms, and by “Lenze & DeBuam” and their modern folk music stylings.
