At Heilmaier Messedesign, we specialize in “packaging in space”, and we applied that philosophy at Interpack in Düsseldorf. Our aim was to create a seamless and consistent visual identity for SOMIC that harmoniously combines their machines and their corporate identity in their exhibition stand.
For the presentation at PPMA, Heilmaier Messedesign chose red lighting elements and impressive large-format graphics to showcase the theme of high-tech digitalization. Inspired by various sources, including both product design and nature, the clever combination of all details created an impressive “wow effect” that emphasized the progressive direction of the SOMIC brand.
The design elements, particularly the curves and radii in the logo lettering, were transferred to the scaled-down exhibition stand without losing any of the modern, innovative, and sophisticated atmosphere.
Visitors to the PPMA were able to see the machine’s operating status from a distance thanks to the LED lighting. In combination with the tinted windows, this created a mystical lighting atmosphere that made their entire booth stand out above and beyond their neighbors and competitors.
