Archery Day 2026

One arrow, one target – and plenty of good vibes: last week, our entire team traded their desks for the archery range. The team event was all about focus, team spirit and a healthy dose of competitive drive.

It all kicked off early in the morning with a little surprise: every colleague received a personal cooler bag as a goodie bag for the day – lovingly packed with a lunch box with an engraved name, sunscreen, sandwiches, fresh fruit, snack bars and drinks. A small sign that at Heilmaier, nobody has to start the day hungry or unprepared.

The archery itself made one thing clear: building exhibition stands and shooting arrows straight into the bullseye are two entirely different disciplines. There was plenty of aiming, plenty of laughing, and quite a few arrows missed their target by a wider margin than planned – which only meant even more laughter. Between shots, there was plenty of time for conversations away from the daily grind, for new anecdotes and the occasional friendly contest for the golden centre.

By the end of the day, one thing was certain: the real bullseye wasn’t the best hit rate, but the day we spent together as a team.
